The HDGU crest contains several element
On the shield are a player throwing a disc, a tree and a pole hole.
These symbolize the parts of the game; the player, Nature, the equipment.
Above the shield is a rising sun, symbolizing there is always a new day to play.
With one on each side of the shield, the two Griffins mythical beasts of power and flight (and coincidentally an extinct Innova disc)
